Friends of Sherwood Regional Library: October 2012

Book Sale:

The Book Sale Schedule is: (This will change to the second Saturday in the month if the first Saturday is on a holiday weekend.)

Every day the library is open (both first and second floor sales areas).
Special sales in the second floor sales room take place on the following days.
Every Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The First Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Donation Process
Donations of books and popular magazine titles, audio books, movies and music CDs in good, salable condition are welcome any hours the library is open, except for Sundays. Large donations can be brought to the library delivery door, Mondays through Saturday. A receipt is available to all donors.

Sherwood Regional Library welcomes your donations of:

Current and high-interest non-fiction

Hardcover fiction in excellent condition

New and gently used children’s books.

For reasons of health and space, WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

Musty, mildewed, torn or moisture-damaged books

Textbooks older than 3 years

Computer/business/finance books older than 2 years

Reader’s Digest Condensed Books

Medical and/or legal books

Incomplete encyclopedia sets or other incomplete sets

Magazines

Phonograph records and/or cassette tapes

Books previously owned by libraries

Your gift of books in excellent condition will be considered for addition to our collection. Those not added are given to the Friends of the Sherwood Regional Library for their ongoing book sale.

ITEMS LEFT OUTSIDE WILL BE DISCARDED.

Donation Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: no donations accepted.
